Trustee - Four Year Term
Danny Lebron serves as District Lodge 141 Trustee and is a member of the District’s Executive Board. He currently serves as President of Local Lodge 1781 in San Francisco.
Lebron was hired in 1990 as a storekeeper at SFO. In 1992, he was elected as a Shop Steward before being elected unanimously as Grievance Committee person in 1999. Lebron held that position for almost three terms until January 2008, when he became President of Local Lodge 1781.
Lebron has been a member of the Local Lodge 1781 Executive Board since 2004. He was also Co-Chair of the Organizing Committee and served on the District Lodge’s MNPL Committee. He became a District Auditor in 2004.
Lebron has been a delegate to several District Lodge 141 Conventions. He has completed training classes at the William W. Winpisinger Center and attended the Organizing Summit in Chicago in 2004.
He is assisting AGC Arther Jackson in negotiating a second contract with Scientific Concepts. Lebron was instrumental in successfully organizing the employees of Scientific Concepts, and assisted in negotiating its first contract, which was later ratified unanimously.
Other organizing campaigns Lebron has worked on include Virgin America, Swissport and Menzies at SFO, where “we achieved 100 percent support for the IAM’s campaign” Lebron says. Lebron also assisted in the IAM’s organizing effort at Lockheed Martin in Phoenix.
