Vice President - West -Two Year Term
Vice President West Sandy Gardner has had 19 years of experience with the Public Contact Employees (PCE) at United Airlines and has been a Shop Steward since PCE was organized in 1999.
Gardner has served her Local Lodge as Vice President and Chairperson of the Women's Committee. She has held the position of PCE Committee Person since 2004.
At United Gardner’s duties include: managing daily Customer Service schedules overtime, ANP, shift and vacation bids, budgets for the Denver station in Customer Service and other tasks. Her CSR responsibilities include direct involvement with teaming the union and the company.
Garner has represented numerous members at second-step hearings and has attended many third-step hearings with her AGC.
She has completed all four years of Leadership Training at the William W. Winpisinger Education & Technology Center. She has also completed Women’s Training classes and the Collective Bargaining Class.
Garner was a delegate at the Grand Lodge Convention in 2004. She has also been a delegate to IAM Women’s Conferences, CLUW conferences and District Conferences.
